I must agree with some of the other posters in that you can run into a fraud. My only advice is to use a credit card that has fraud protection and review the seller's sales history before clicking that buy button. You can also contatct Ebay for addition information on how to detect a fraud and how to report them. Hope your buy goes as planned. Just remember that you wouldn't buy food that didn't look good enough to eat! |

If you are looking to buy some specific retail type products, this service is quick and easy to use, and you can browse multiple sellers to be sure you are getting a good price.
You can find everything from antiques, art, cameras, coins, jewelry, dvds, health and beauty products, sporting goods, video games, and much more at eBay Express. eBay also has a big section called eBay Motors. Buying a car on eBay you think? Sounds a little weird, but it is the same concept as buying from your local newspaper, except now you have access to a much bigger inventory, you can see what prices similar cars sold for in your area or other areas, and you can see multiple color pictures of the cars you are looking at. eBay offers free buyer protection on vehicles up to $20,000, and they include free shipping quotes if you are buying a car from out of state. They actually sell a car every 60 seconds on eBay - a lot of people are doing it, so consider looking there next time you are in the market for a car.

eBay is based on trust. You need to check the seller's feedback before you buy something expensive. Make sure that they have a good feedback score.
Also, use PayPal to pay for the item. If you use PayPal, you will have some recourse if the seller doesn't send you the item. You can fill out An Item Not Received form and eBay will reimburse you up to a certain dollar amount. |

Definitely check the sellers feedback! If they have negative, check to see what the negatives are for. How much feedback do they have...be cautious if they have a low feedback score. Everyone has to start somewhere, but I would not buy a $2,000 dollar item from someone with 5 feedback.
Most importantly use a credit card attached to a paypal account. If you do not receive the item or the seller sends you a wrong item intentionally you can just go straight to the credit card company & file a dispute getting you money back.
Never use a debit card attached to paypal though, debit card payments can not be stopped. |

No there is no guarentee. The best thing to do is check the person rating on how well their customers rate their delivery. I ordered some items from a person and never got them. I had to report them to e-bay. If you get to many bad reports e-bay wukk kick you off. Its really a chance that we take. I did get in contact with the person. She claims that my address was not correct, but i gave it to her again, and again. but never received my products. It wasn't much so I let her made it. And i will not buy anything else from her. |
