If I work 10 hours overtime and I'm salaried does that matter?
Can I get Overtime pay or did I just work a 50 hour week for the pay of a 40 hr week?

Perplexed
Sure it matters. It matters to you and your family. The company is getting a deal when they do that. And unfortunately some companies pay salaries for the sole purpose of being able to do that.

If you get a bonus of any type in addition to your salary, you can get what's called an Overtime Coefficient.

That basically means that if ten percent of your salaried time is earned in over forty hours, then your bonus should get a time and a half bonus for those ten percent of the hours over forty.

If you are a salaried employee you would be getting your regular pay. I have not ever heard of anyone receiving overtime if they are a salaried employee(employer). If you normally work a 40 hr. wk. but worked 10 hrs. more you would still get your 40 hr. pay.

Salaried do not get 'overtime' pay.
u may qualify for comp / personal time.

Usually salaried workers don't qualify for overtime pay. However, many companies allow for "comp" or "personal" time for overtime hours.

Feeling Mutual
It depends, if you are an exempt employee, you worked 50 hours for your salary.

If you are a non-exempt employee, you are entitled to time and an half for the 10 hours over 40 hours per week.
