I assume by help/ hurt you mean help or hurt the company moneywise.
Depends, the company must run the numbers and see if it helps them or hurts them. Since labor is still alot cheaper in those countries as compared to the us is very well may help the company, but it the products are being sold in the US you still have to pay to have everything shipped over here which may end up costing you more in the long run. Again, you just gotta run the numbers and see. |

It will deifinitely hurt those companies who didnt transfer factories to cheaper labor countries in terms of profitability and price competitiveness. Staying in the US entails higher labor costs hence higher product costs and higher pricing to make a good profit. Their product will compete in the market with same products of same quality but cheaper prices. Sales will be down due to competition's lower prices, profitability will also go down. |

it would help the enviroenment, but it helps the TNCS who set up and pay workers cheap wages, and make them work long hours and in poor conditions. Good for TNCs but bad for the host country although they get specilist technologies that they could not have bought without the investment of the TNC. |
