~~Yes it would be just as a great success. What on earth would the color of the founder have do to with it? We are in a new and very enlightened age. People are just people, not colors!~~ |

Back then when Bill Gates was just a lad with his very bright idea's the world was a very different place where racism was concerned.I doubt very much if any large corporation back then especially in the USA would have even thought of giving a black man a chance. If bill gates had been black we would probably just be getting the Spectrum ZX now |

If Obama can be a presidential candidate, then Bill Gates being black would have made no difference. Times are changing for the better :) |

Sure.
Why not?
Look in the real world.
How everyone like the best seller Michael Jackson.
Michael Jordan with "I believe I can fly"
Diana Rose " Do you know"
"Bill Cosby"

What do you think? |

The country abolished slavery first. Britain has had fewer race riots. More American black people are in the forces. Lots of people are involved in entertainment. Your question asks if black people should be in society. |

I'm not racist, but sadly the reality is no way. Things are getting better with maybe with Obama on his way to becoming the new president the world can set aside people's race and be equals. |

Yes, because Bill Gates had extremely good skills, both in computer programming and in knowing how to do business. Believe me, IBM didn't care about his race, only about how much money he could make for them. He was very much in the right place at the right time. He had the credentials of Harvard, the contacts, the skills... |
