When I say jerk, I mean you would be the CEO of a major company, and occasionally you would fire thousands of people
at once(they call it leting go, but its the same thing. You would treat all your subordinates like crap, all your secretaries,and your family/wives/girlfriends/mistresses.

No. Years ago I was a little involved in local politics, had an appointed office then an elected one. Some people with a lot of $$ made me an offer that would most likely have ended up with a lot of $$ for me and higher offices. I thought about it a long time, then declined.
They fellow they put up for the office they wanted me in did win, and made it pretty good until his head got too big and he thought he was above the law. Turns out he was wrong, he wasn't that important to the party involved. |
