Okay follow me for a minute...
I was doing surveys on rewards1.....
one of the surveys was you had to enter a contest....
I entered the info under a fake name.....
its been two weeks and i got a check in the mail for a large sum of money....
but it is to my fake name....
is there anyway to cash the check in my name?
(rewards1 is a site where you do surveys to get points that u can use tword prizes)
Nope.Thats why they chose you as the winner.They knew you were a scam and you helped them out because they can now say they paid out a big prize and they really didnt.

Yeah, like she said above... ask the bank. You can call them on the phone and tell them your predicament and they won't know who you are so it's safe to ask what to do.

Well, even if you can, it may be a scam. If you do get it cashed (this happened to someone at work) leave it in the bank for a few months. Don't try to spend it.

don't cash it in a fake name you can get into trouble
theres some thing you can do #1 contact the people that gave you the check and tell then the truth its your money they gave it to you so why can't they simply cut you an other check in your real name
people like honesty and if your honest with them they will like it
tell them the truth tell them that you were afraid to use your real name
your probably not the only 1
I have given fake name on line before I was afraid that some 1 might use my information agents me
now theres an other thing you can do just give the check to some 1 that has a checking or savings account like you mom or dad
the check will be put into there account and they can give you your
money
but that might not be a good thing because what if those people who gave you the check want to do more business they will be sending you more checks under a fake name
think about it, but i think if there going to send you more checks you should fix the problem ASAP!!

weel, im pretty sure that ur like, ded, if u want the money. unless u hav a signature or sometrhing to prove to the bank managering that ur check is reely urs, ur gonna b let down, just ask ur bank bout it
