CNF and CIF I don't know but FOB means "Free On Board" which means the price includes everything up to taking it to the docks and putting it on a ship, but nothing after that.

rock_lover69
cif = cost of insurance freight
fob = free on board
and if these are not the right meanings im gonna kill my economics teacher.

CNF: CNF Incorporated, a supply-chain company
CIF: A Term of Sale where the seller has the same obligations as under the CFR (Cost and freight) but also has to procure marine insurance against the buyer's risk of loss or damage to the goods during the carriage. The seller contracts for insurance and pays the insurance premium. The CIF term requires the seller to clear the goods for export.
FOB: at a named port of export where the seller quotes the buyer a price that covers all costs up to and including the loading of goods aboard a vessel.

"CIF" means "cost including freight." That means goods will be delivered at your door. CIF means that the cost and freight conditions are equal to those applied by the CFR term (cost and freight terms)
"FOB" means "Free On Board" (usually followed by a location)
meaning the distance from the warehouse which the manufacturer pays the shipping charge.

For example, a manufacturer who warehouses his product in Peoria Illinois, and who ships solely by rail, may state "FOB Peoria" means the buyer must pay all shippingg costs from the warehouse to it's destination; "FOB Chicago", for the
same situation means that the manufacturer will pay all shipping costs from his warehouse in Peoria as far as Chicago; after that, the buyer is responsible for the shipping. And, of course, "FOB Destinantion" means that the manufacturer pays all shipping costs to the destinantion address on the waybill.
