In what order are these retailers cheapest for everyday groceries in the UK? co op, spar or sainsbury's.?
i have spar and co op very close to my new flat, sainsbury's is quite a bit futher, is it worth travelling the extra or is co op or spar just as cheap? co op and spar are conveinience stores, not massive. thanks.
Assuming your Co-op is a little shop rather than a superstore then the cheapest wil be Sainsburys
Co-op
Spar

sainsburys is alot cheaper depending on the type of product if you dont like to buy supermarket own brands then your better of going to co-op

Go to the COOP dude.

Sainsbury's is one of the more expensive supermarkets. Spar and Co-op are probably about the same price, but will probably have less choice (depending on how big of a sainsburys it is).
If I were you, I'd go for co-op as it is not only quite cheap, but it also has really good sourcing guidelines and sells a lot of fairtrade stuff. My local Co-op has just added a delicatessen as well, which is great and sells lots of really yummy locally produced food!

cheapest is Sainsbury's, followed by Co-op and then Spa.
