Appearance wise Walmart is always crowded, merchandise is always messy, bathroom are horrible, lines are out the door. Prices wise everything is pretty decent and low.
Kmart merchandise is a mess and trashy, lines are short, prices are fair.
Target short lines move fast, always in stock, merchandise organized, high priced. |

They have different logos, customers and employees. Target has a better range of clothing, Wal-Mart has a better range of appliances and around the house needs like food, and Kmart really sucks but is cheap. It has BAD clothing and ok appliances but doesn't include variety but has cheap prices. |

You know I have never been to Target, but I have been to Wal-Mart in our area and I work at the local K-Mart, but I have to agree about Wal-mart some items are cheaper than K-Mart's but overall I think it has to do with customer service, how the store looks. Is it fully stocked with the item that you are looking for, if it is cheaper or if it will match the competior's price, etc. How friendly is the employee, etc. How the parking lot looks, etc.
I think it depends on the competition in your area, if there is all three (Target, Wal-Mart, K-Mart). If I were you, I would compare a couple of items that each store carries that way you can do a compare how the service is and who gave you the best deal for it. |

I think Kmart is a little more expensive than Target & Walmart. They are all good stores but I think Kmart is not doing so great. I like Target a little better than Walmart, but Walmart has better prices. |
