It's funny you asked because I just got off the phone with them. Did they tell you that you are to pay a fee of $489 in the form of a cashiers check? The lady who called me told me that. Her name was Kay Bell and she told me that we were eligible for a $40,000 grant. We would have to sign a contract and pay the $489, which should be sent with the contract. After you send the contract she would send you a questionnaire that you had to be honest on and return. Then she said that you will get the $40,000 check at tax time. Plus the $489 fee back.
So, I was very very suspicious about it all so I ended the call soon after several instances of very awkward silence. That told me that she was NOT a professional. I'm doing a little research on that company as we speak.

I have been talking with a man who calls himself Matthew Goodwin from CDI Resources and got the same story as the lady who was told it would take 12 weeks to have the check, I am approved for 125K too, and they want the $489.00 first....
But they did send me a contract. It looks fine to me so far but then if I need to use it what happens....that is not clear.
I also looked into them on the BBB website and they have existed in Seattle WA since November 2007!! I was told by Matt they have been writing grants for 36 years. I wonder where? I called to the number Matt gave me and got a lady who did not speak English well at all and Matt had just left the office. HA! He is quick, if that is where he is.
No one else has a record on them that I can find so far. Just be careful I guess. It is so hard to check out web sites and find out the story on them and I may be too cautious but that is what I do. THANKS for the opportunity to share. ` |

We have been told we have been approved for a $125k government grant to start our business. She has claimed been trying to email us the contract and claims they may be blocked from our personal Yahoo address.
Has anyone received the contract from them to review?
She also claimed we should be receiving doc's via FedX. Has anyone moved further than I. If you Google 888-296-5160 it goes to a lot of business's for health products etc... and I wasn't able to get any cooperation till I said grant and they just transfered me again.
Would like to hear from someone who may have received this so called contract to review. |

I also have been contacted by CDI Resources. But we did fill out an application for a grant. But they told us that we had to send our contract and $489 cashiers check by the next day. Today! Which is suspicious to me. And the fact that someone else on here was told something different than we were. We were told that we were guarenteed the grant money but it would take up to 12 weeks. The other person on here was told that they would get their money back at tax time. And we were told we would only get the money back if the grant did not go through. I have also searched the internet for any sign of this company, and your question is the only thing I could find. I did go to the BBB.org website and they did have them listed but they said they only found out about them recently, and nothing has been reported on them yet. But that does not mean that they are legit, only that no one has reported them yet. I would like to know more about them TOO. Who can you talk to to find out if this is a legit grant service? |

I think its not legit! i only googled this to find out more about them but i cant find anything. not only that but if you mapquest their address its an address but in a different city. and they abbriviated blvd wrong. what kind of proffesionals would make those kind of mistakes with a website so small? thats what i got for you, im not paying them, thats enough for me!
