Is Corporate Greed a U.S. problem or a worldwide phenomena?

Roses don't come without thorns. Capitalism doesn't come without a few cheaters.

World wide problem

Kevinnius
Its worldwide. The US is just the best at it.

Actually seriously, most world countries are willing to accept their property rights to be violated somewhat (aka paying higher taxes) to afford things like social programs, health care, ect.

The US places a higher value on property rights than most other countries do. As a result, they have the world's most wealthy economy. The US is the largest player in the corporate world, and so its natural to have a perception that they are the bringers and bearers of corporate greed.

Corporate greed is found nearly everywhere in free-market economies.

hammy sammy
It's a US problem that will become world wide. Right now the US is (75 trillion) in the hole and that's just on a couple of securities. So if the US falls hard, so will the world

It's Me
Both. If a person kills someone they go to jail. If a corporation kills 10,000 people, they pay money, but only if they HAVE money.

Give me a break!

How about envy (yourself)?

How about sloth (lazy US workers)?

And the list goes on and on and on......
