Also if you pay with paypal you are protected for up to a certain amount,I can't remember how much,go to their site and read about it.If they don't send the item you can notify ebay and they will contact the seller.If they can't get them then to give a valid delivery confirmation number then they will refund you.Also you receive the product and it is broken and the seller wont refund,contact ebay and and they will refund after you send the item back.Just make sure you get a delivery confirmation number to prove it was returned.The crap the seller puts in about not being responsible for lost or broken items is not true,they are responsible. |

Ebay can be a scam but it can also be a good resource for buying and selling merchandise. I have purchased several things from Ebay and have never been scammed. ALWAYS read the feedback and see how many things they have sold. I don't even bother with a person without a high feedback score that has sold several things on Ebay.
Another thing to remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is! |

well if you do buy and pay with paypal.. you better watch them ..over christmas i was charged a $100 on my paypal account .. and paypal is just say in so.. it is you loss ..they were no help at all.. I have no idea who charged it or what they sell.. i was just riped off and paypal refused to help me at all. |

the odds of getting ripped of on ebay are slim. but just check the persons ratings and feedback scores, along with an email asking any questions or concerns. and if the off chance that you do get ripped off, email the head of ebay immediately. best of luck |

Not everything on eBay is a scam. That said, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
I also wouldn't sign a contract if I preferred to pay as I go. |
