We asked for a $50 DVD player and now have to deal with what that means....Chances are pretty good some illegals are working at the Hershey Factory in PA anyways, so what's the difference in quality? Probably not much.
Levi Strauss after 100 years of making jeans in the US said a few years ago they couldn't "compete" so moved all their factories to Mexico. Wake up people, it's about more profit!
They use global competition as a segway to paying someone a dollar a day to make your 200 dollar designer jeans and you go out willingly and buy them.
So unless you want to buy a 1964 VW Bug, wear hemp skirts and not use any makeup, buy your Hershey Bar and go about your day. |

The Hershey plant where I live in Canada, near Ottawa is closing. A few others are closing too. But some will remain open, including the flagship location in PA. |

Everyone else is moving out of the country so why not them too. Frankly I think Hershey's tastes like feet so maybe this will help. The best chocolate comes from outside the US anyway. |

Yes, they are moving away from Hershey, PA and to MEXICO.
Farmers and really all the local residents of Hershey, PA are quite pissed off about it.
The company is no longer in the hands of the original family. It is really sad to lose them to Mexico, but it is definitely happening.
I too will not be buying Hershey products anymore. |
