Here the gas price has lowered to $2.52 @ gallon thanks to the Boycott of Exxon/ Mobil Stores. WE are hurting the. The demand for Exxon/ Mobil has dropped and wal*Mart is 2c higher than THe Giant Exxon/ Mobil. Thanks and lets all keep the pressure on them. NO demand More supply. THey have to sell it at some price. It is like ICE...It has to move or??? Additional Details How much is the cost of Reg. unleaded in your area
I did not know anyone was boycotting them, when did it start? So I guess it is not working here either.

Gas doesn't melt or disappear very quickly once you put it in the tank. Your ice analogy makes no sense.
Honest and fair
I'm sorry to have to tell you this but boycotting Exxon/Mobile will not lower gas prices. If everyone stopped using Exxon Mobile but kept using gasoline just as much the price would simply go up at other gas stations due to the increase in demand. Exxon mobile might lower their price slightly and since people are sensitive to gas prices they would switch back.
Also gasoline is not like ice. It can be stored for long periods of time.

If you really want to lower the price of gas you have to reduce the demand for it entirely. If 50% of the people stopped driving forever gas prices would go down because of the drop in demand. But just buying your gas somewhere else will not work.
