Nope. Monday through Friday are considered business days. Saturday and Sunday are considered the weekend. |

In the United States, and most of the world, business days are Monday through Friday. Even if a business is open on Saturday and Sunday. This is because of the banks which are only open....yeah you can figure it from there.
However if you are calling for info or something and are told to call the next business day it could possibly be Saturday. But the person who says that would be an idiot since it makes more sense to say call tomorrorw. |

Not in Califronia but in California, Saturdays are often used for spill-over work that couldn't get done during the week. Many workers deal with emails, presentation development, writing, etc. Especially in Sillicon Valley, many companies expect the work to get done and they don't care if it means the employee has to give up their weekend. |

Generally, it is a no, but for public accounting during tax busy season, (Jan-Apr) Sat. is business day for all those firms. Sun. is too :) |
