Is accounting a difficult subject?
studying accounting is hard or not?

if you enjoy numbers, you would love it.

usually, the first few subjects would relate around numbers and easier structures, like sole proprietorship and partnership. as you move along, it gets more complicated and wordy, especially if you are doing accounting for companies.

accounting is also separated into 2 types, financial and management. financial involves generating reports of a company's performance and profit. management, on the other hand, usually involves costing and decision making information.

it's not very difficult once you understand the basics. i would strongly suggest that you make sure that your basics (of the types of documents, statements, journal entries, double entries) are well covered. once you have mastered those, everything else comes like a breeze.

job opportunities are aplenty, with more new jobs coming out, such as forensic accounting. also, the market is always in need of accountants, wherever you go,

It is not hard if
(1) you can understand and apply relatively complex and abstract rules
(2) enjoy problem solving and working with numbers
(3) are detail oriented and accurate

If 'yes' to all three, accounting is not hard. If 'no' to any of the three, there would be better choices for you.

I do not think so. But it requires attention. But it is not an entertaining job.

Arbitrage
It's not difficult and doesn't require massive amounts of intelligence. It just requires someone who can pay attention to details and make sure all the numbers line up and everything is accounted for correctly.

rhymingron
Not all that difficult, but a lot of work.

well, accounting has come under major scrutiny, recently ever since the serbanks-Auxley was passed, so it really has started getting difficult even from the roots, (schools). so i guess its hard
