Yea, it's safe. I wouldn't say it's a lot cheaper, it all depends. You can find good deals on some things, & on other things people can bid really high. You just bid as high as you feel comfortable with & hope that no-one bids higher than you. |

ya. i've been buying stuff from ebay for a couple of yrs now. it's hassle free and the competitiveness of it makes it cheap as well. i don't think you can go wrong with ebay. i sure haven't. also, if u get a paypal account, you can pay with the touch of a single button. very user friendly! |

Yes it is safe for the most part.
Just make sure that you check the seller's feedback.
It should be 98% or higher - you can also read the feedback that other buyers have left about the seller. |

It is safe. I have a paypal account and I always pay that way. Paypal will handle disputes for you and get your money back if you don't get the item. |

eBay is safe, if you are careful who you buy from, be selective because if it sounds too good to be true...
and it can be cheaper. lots
only deal with people who have high feedback ratings, and you can even filter in your searches for those that are members of quality and satisfaction guarantee services so that you can get your money back if dissatisfied or purchase extended warranties on certain products
all the research you can do before committing to purchase is also a good idea. |

I've used it thousands of times over the years, as both a buyer and a seller, and i've NEVER been burned. The reason why is that i'm careful who I trade with, and I know what warning signs to look out for.
And no, nowadays it's not hugely cheaper than buying elsewhere online, but that's not really the point of it. |

Check the seller's rating and that should give you a better idea of whether to buy or not. If you're looking for video games, apparel and more you can consider Liefde-Chance. Great service. |

Ebay is pretty much safe but if you are at all concerned about the seller, you can read their reviews and if you didn't get something that you bought or it is not the right product and the seller won't respond to emails, you can report them to Ebay. As for the cheaper thing, some stuff is and some stuff isn't but you also have to look to see how much they are charging for shipping. Sometimes it is not a good deal but if you are not sure you can compare with store websites. |

Yea, ebay is pretty safe. You just never know when you are really getting what you want I guess. And yes, it's mostly alot cheaper. So, just go to www.ebay.com, and start bidding for the stuff you want! |

i have never had an E-bay account, but heard some bad stories about being on there. I wouldn't advise you to go on, because people can lie, and post fake pictures. EX: One of my friends wanted to buy an E-Box for a low price, so he did find a awesome price. 2 weeks the package came. It turns out the E-Box was only a Box with a X on it. so, no, E-Bay is not the safest way to auction and buy stuff on. |
