I don't know about branch banker's, but I work phones for a bank's credit card division and I would agree with your statement! It's probably not as bad as we see it. I have great benefits, but am paid barely enough to make the job tolerable. I spend 10 hours a day, four days a week (which includes every Sunday) getting yelled at with very high expectations from my employer. It's doable most days, but wow! I would have thought my college degree could put me behind a desk with a little less yelling! =)
Most days I'm begging to have branch hours, so think of me next time you have a bad day. |
