I wouldn't but if you have an email address of the interviewer it might be nice to send a breif email thanking them for the time which may serve to prompt them for an answer!

I personally always have, I don't like it when people beat around the bush. I have never not gotten a job that I wanted I think partly because I so enthusiastically harass the company that I applied for. If they give me a set date that I am to wait until, I of course will adhere to their wishes.
If you can look at a job as more of what you are offering to the company and less of them providing a paycheck to you, 9 times out of 10 you will get what you want if you truly have what they need. |

It depends. If they have told you a day that the decision will be made on and you know and they have told you that they will phone you on say Monday, then you should wait to hear from them. If you then don't hear from them on Monday you should maybe phone them late that day to check. It is no good phoning before that day as they are probably interviewing other people untill that date, which they are obliged to do once the interview's have been arranged even if they know who they are going to choose. You don't want to sound as though you are stupid and don't understand this by pestering them, but on the other hand you should let them know that you are keen, so if you don't hear from them when you think you should, then give them a call. Good luck any way. |
