Walmart does have a policy about employees dating.
My brother was an employee of Walmart over 10 years ago and a young woman he liked was Assistant Manager.
Well, they were interested in one another. Knowing that they would both lose their jobs if they dated and not wanting to put her in that position, my brother quit and found another job.
So, yes, Walmart does have that policy and they are typically very clear about it when they hire people.
And, by the way, the young woman is now my sister-in-law. |

yeah, its about playing favorites and almost any workplace instills those same rules, its even true for some employess who date just like hiring someone who has the same last name, they shouldnt have let it be known that they were dating |

you need to get ahold of a walmart employee hand book...it will tell you wether or not they allow dating in the workplace....my mom works at walmart and there are people who have met there and have actually gotten married...i think you should contact the labor board in your state they can check all this out for you free of charge and advise your daughter what he legal rights are |

It's not against the law, but it may be against company policy. Once you take a job you're expected to know company policy, and if you break it they can legally fire you. |

It's not illegal. But it is against Walmart policy and they can and do fire you for it. The government can't tell you who to date...I mean... think for 5 seconds, huh? |
