Is it better if my resume is only one page instead of two or it really doest matter?
Additional Details and what font size should it be?
Keep it to one page. Doesn't matter how long you've worked.
Most employers will consider any resume more than one page someone who is not an effective communicator. You should be able to sell yourself in one page. And also, if the first page looks boring, they will typically skip the rest.
The key is to make it short and sweet. We all know what a secretary does, so listing the roles and responsibilities of that job is uninteresting - leave all that out. That leaves very little,but what's left is what you brought to the job.
Examples:
improved the filing system (if you have data say how much improved);
saved the company x dollars by changing suppliers;
landed the company's 2nd largest account at the time;
managed a 2000 PC office with a skeleton staff of 20;
etc.
The highlights need to show why what you did was special and worthy of note. And it shows you know what you were doing.
The multi-page resume (or curriculum vitae) is meant to be targeted at very few job types (mainly academic faculty positions).
Good luck!

It will be better if it is more than 2 pages. employers needs to know about their prospective employee's work experiences and their knowledge in which they will work in future. the only way to help them is to give a better picture of yourself thru resume'.try to elaborate your work experience because thats what they are interested in. not the other unwanted craps. good luck

I have always heard that it can be either as long as it is full pages and there is ample white space. Font has always been 12 either Arial or Time New Roman because of something to do with companies that have the digital resume scanners.

I think you might want to stick to one page. If you have a lot of work experience or have been working for over 15 years, it is okay to have longer than one page. But the truth of the matter is that unless it is one page, most employers just throw it out. Check out this site, it has some eamples of resumes. http://5starresume.com/2star.html

Two is better - one doesnt seem enough. When you have a good size section on your education and training and a good size section on empoyment history then you can go up to four pages.
I recommend size 12 font - ariel is usually best.

What matters is the resume's actual matter. 1/2/3 or font-size doesn't make any difference though it should look good to you. OK?
