Well, if the manager said to apply online then I guess you have no choice but to apply online. If you really want to job show up to the Mcdonald's three or four days after applying and talk to the manager and tell him you applied online and are interested in a position. Any way you can stand out in a positive light will help you nail the job. Don't forget to dress appropriately. |

I've been told to apply online by subway and I couldn't download the file!!
It could only be one of three things:
1) They're trying to save paper.
2) They were out of applications.
3) They don't want you to work there so they told you to go online where you won't even be able to download the application.
I don't like the online idea because how could they tell if your references were fake or not? Then again, how do they ever tell? Maybe you should print it out and turn it in instead...
My sister applied in person and got the job... I think it's because McDonalds is desperate. But I donno. |

definitely in person, i work at A&W, when applied online they never told me to go for a interview, when applied in person, they gave me a interview in a week. |

you have to apply online, its how they do it. if you really want to work there, do your onliine app, wait about 3-4 weekdays, then go in at a slow time of day and ask if he has had time to review it. |
