I think its funny when Walmart commercials are on t.v. and they stores look all pristine and clean. In the commercials the employees are average looking and clean cut, professional looking, smiling and pleasant. The items on the shelf are all full and perfectly faced forward. The floors and lighting are bright, and everything has a place on a shelf and there is no clutter. Now we all know that if you go into your local Walmart it is NOTHING like the commercials. I'm half tempted to make a spoof commercial using a real store.

I have two wal-marts near where I live. One is in a pretty low run part of town, a lot of lower income people shop there. The store is pretty messy, crowded as hell, the aisles are narrow. I hate going there so much, I switched over to the other one when it opened.
The new one, (both are recently built super walmarts) is in a really nice part of town. The houses around it are very nice, nice neighborhoods. The store is very nice, neat all the time, the customers aren't all the lower income people, the employees are very nice. The shelves look good most of the time, and there seems to be a lot of room. |

There are 2 Wal-Marts we frequent and 1 is pretty good. Items may not always be facing the right way, but for the most part, at least they are where they should be. The staff also seems courteous and helpful. Then there's the Wal-Mart close to work where rudeness seems to be the rule, the store is dirty, the staff, discourteous, items not where they should be or not there at all. And don't get me started on the restrooms |

i don't know. my Wal-Mart is fine. the employees ARE almost all nice, it's usually clean and for the most part stocked (i constantly pass employees who are re-stocking the shelves). so, i guess yours is kinda crappy but mine is fine. i wonder is yours a new one or an old one? probably the newer ones not only look better just cuz they're new but also are better taken care of. anyhow let's think about WHO messes up the store? hello, it's the customers. |

I don't know what commercial you are talking about, but the Wal-Marts in the 3 towns I've lived in over 5 years have always held a similar standard to what you described. Only difference is not all the items are pulled forward, but the majority is. |

depends on where i go. This one in town has very fat workers, hair unkempt, teeth are rotting, and there attire is awful. shirts are wrinkled and either too baggy or too tight. despite there inability to maintain there appearance the store is relatively clean and stocked.
but my other walmart if filled with very old employees that walk around and smile, then at the cash register there are teens fresh out of highschool. That place is clean too. I think your walmart is just an incredibly crappy one. Isnt it crazy how about everyone who answered has at least 2 walmarts within their radius? They are taking over! |
