Is it leagel for an employer to work a salaried employee 15 hours a day, 7 days a week?

Depends on what your salary is and the conditions under which they employed you. I hope you are getting extra renumeration for the time.
You should have a Department of Labour and Industry or similar to check working hours and don't forget the unions.
To me it seems excessive as it doesn't give you much free time to spend relaxing with friends or families, are they working any others into an early grave or just you?

kerrbear
Read your employee handbook and whatever you signed when you took the job. That is too many hours, depending on what it is you do.

pogi
no

Dakota K
Verys from where you are, look up your local labor laws. That would be a huge paycheck where I live.

Joe E
unfortunately yes.

Doug H
Pretty much. I've been there too.

Eric J
If there was a contract or statement of work there might be legal (please note spelling of 'legal') grounds to challenge the employer. If the employee does not find the work conditions favorable, then this worker should consider a new job.

It varies by state, but in most, yeah pretty much.

Yes.

There is no law stating how many hours a person can work in a day or week.

(Well, 1 or 2 states have a law, but most don't.)
