You can (and should) apply to as many as you want. The only problem you will face is that they won't all wait and make you an offer at the same time (might not even make you an offer at all). And though they MIGHT give you some amount of time to make up your mind (and maybe wait for another offer to come in) they won't wait ALL that long. If they decide they want you, they usually call and ask you something like: "If we send you an offer letter, will you accept?" If you waffle they are likely to ignore you and go to the next one on their list. If you say yes, and then later turn down the offer, they will probably keep your name in their "do not rehire" files.
Good gracious, Moxie; we don't often get to see so many spelling errors in one single response. Maybe you shouldn't ignore YA's spellchecker. |

It is Ok, and in fact it is necessary in today's economy. Just think how happy the next person in line for the jobs you turn down will be! |

No, people apply to a number of jobs at any given moment. This is because it is a waste of resource and energy to do it one by one. Just think of it as the same reason why employers interview a lot of people at the same time.
It is better to apply at a number of jobs and just choose one. |

Its great to apply to multiple jobs and get yourself out there.
Even if its not something that might seem interesting its good to just get practice with interviewing. And you might find you like a job you might not haave found intersting |

Its ok, no one will know. If the others call, tell them you were hired from a prior interview. When I used to work for contract tech agencies, I would talk to and send resumes to between 50 and 100 agencies before finding a job. I would receive quite a few offers before and after I hired on with one of them. I would send the other offers to friends in that field I knew who were looking. If the job I accepted didn't work out, I had all of those other agencies all warmed up to fall back on.
I've heard of people who would take another job while on vacation and decide whether they were going to give notice at the job they were vacationing from. The big goal is to keep your paychecks contiguous. |

YES!!! I have been offered two jobs in one day that way. I am honest and explain that I was offered another job. Just be nice about it. Don't tell them you are applying for other jobs when you are applying though. |
