It's certainly possible. I think the question is whether all types of business can manage it. It can't be easy for an arms manufacturer to do it, for example.

Don't ask Jamie Dimon, his ego is going to sink his current ship. He is leading with his ego and making changes that will never be sustainable profitable for any length of time. Short burst of very high profitability for the share holder, then disgruntled employees giving bad service, then
shrinking customer base.
The Men's Wearhouse- for a retail company, the number of employees that have been with them for over 10 years is staggering. Amazing for retail these days. George Zimmer keeps his ego in check and treats his employees well. Therefore his "happy" employees give George's customers excellent service. |
