they don't water it down, but they have different mixes depending on the season, and since they changed it recently the prices have been dropping. anyway they are hoping to get more republicans elected by dropping the prices, they arent worried about watering it down.

not much they can do. the gas stations (not controled by the big guys anyhow) get checked to make sure the amount you get is the full gallon. BIG fine. the octane has to be as advertised. your gov. tax dollars working for you. However, you can bet they have something in mind. Maybe theyr'e scared of bio fuels?
