Nope..... it is okay, just make sure that you don't have a funny name. The best way is to get a new email address, that sounds professional, nothing like hotbaby@yahoo.com.... And use it for job application and professional type of relationship and keep one for your friends.
Always check the bulk mail box for emails, sometime when you receive mails from company that ended up in bulk.

No. It is ok as long as its not one of those that cathces your total attention or that is really corny. An example of this would be bootylicious@yahoo.com, sexybeast08@hotmail.com, etc. If you dont have an appropriate email adress, go ahead and set up another free email account that looks some what more professional than the one you have. Trust me, if you use the one you have and its like the ones i mentioned above, more than likely you will not get the job.
