Objective:
To obtain a part-time position at a retail store while contributing to it's success by committing great customer service and a promising shopping experience.
"by committing great customer service" sounds odd, perhaps "by committing to great customer service".
"promising shopping experience" is a description that is sort of used by companies to attract customers, so you may want it to say "promising shopping experience to customers" or just change the whole thing to something like it

committing? perhaps "by providing excellent customer service while providing customers with an enjoyable shopping experience"
Most objective statements sound flaky, and most employers know they are complete B.S. I usually use to objective to give the impression that I would really enjoy working at that company (people who like their jobs are better employees).
"Committing" and "promising" are not common terms when dealing with retail (In the U.S." anyways), and its helpful to not be so ambiguous.. ie. what is a promising shopping experience?? You need to provide a successful one :).

to obtain gainful employment......at forever 21, ( but saying 'at a retail store' makes it sound really generic.... ) to contribute to it's success, by providing outstanding and honest customer service by understanding and serving customer needs...
? I dunno, is that over reaching?

Put "to obtain a part-time position" close to the end.
Focus on values you can deliver at the beginning.
And I will usually call it career goal rather than objective. Sound more promising.
Anyway just my personal opinion.

How do you committ great customer service? I'd just put: to obtain a part-time position in sales. Put all that extra stuff about wanting to serve people and create a promising shopping experience in your cover letter.
