Have you ever tried an internet/phone customer service line.? Most speak some English - but usually poorly and with heavy accent, that Americans can't understand. It's good for economies of their countries - But not for US, as these jobs used to be based here. I think jobs should stay in their own country. If the company is here - the customer service should be. Also, unfortunately, goods from other countries tend to be manufactured to lower standards. Have bought clothes @ Walmart that fell apart @ seams after 1st wash. Bad value, low standards from overseas. |

I think it helps them quite a bit. it depends on who you ask. If you ask them, I'm sure they would say, "no way!" For the citizens of the US on the other hand, it's not so great. |

Well, if you live in the United States and plan to "outsource", to another country such as India or China the correct term is off-shoring.
It's not hard to offshore operations, it takes planning and getting contacts with the companies you wish to pass your operations at the beginning, and that is probably the hardest part about it.
Companies(subcontractor) that specializes in that operation you wish to outsource usually have gone through the process many times, therefore they can ease the process for you. That is of course if you select(which you will) an experienced contractor for the operations.
