Is tesco in the wrong?
hi a quick question that i would like help with please, yesterday i went to tescos changing and feeding room to feed my 5 week old baby. when i sat on the feeding chair provided, i fell back and banged my head on the tiled wall behind me. ( thank god i had my hair in a pony tail to cushion the blow. and my son was fine.) on close inspection of the chair i found that the bottom of it had come a way. which is what had caused me to fall back, you could tell it wasnt me that had caused this and it was wear and tear to the chair. i went to see the manager who did a accident report and made sure we was both ok. she took the chair away but not before i got some photos of it on my mobile. she is now refering it to there head office what will happen now and how can i take it further? ( i know they wasnt no serious injures but i was very shaken at the thought that if ihad injured myself, or at the worst knocked myself out i would of dropped my beautiful son on a tiled floor and we would both of been locked in that room for god knows how long) many thanks
yes they are they have a responsibility to ensure that there customers are provided with a safe environment. i work for ASDA dealing with complaints and the customer service desk. did they give you a complaint number or any gesture of good will. sometimes what could have happened is more scary than what actually happened and they should bear that in mind. if you haven't heard from the head office within 7 days get in touch with them yourself.. the address or Telephone should be available from the store and they have to give it you if you ask.
