Upcoming???? We are already in recession that is predicted for progressively worse descent for at least several years by economic optimists...
The US government is facing using your tax money to bail out private banks for billions with public money. The UK is doing the same (as always). |

This is reality.
With so many huge businesses collapsing *coughBigThreecough* people are already losing their jobs. There has been a large increase in unemployment levels already, and the trend is expected to continue. Until the housing situation straightens itself out in the US, and they can reduce cost in foreign wars, more and more people are going to be losing their jobs, and the US is going to go further and further in debt, and the rest of the world at its heels |

Unfortunately it is coming. Of course there are small and not so small dips in the economy thru the years. Unfortunately, I don't think this will be a small or a negligible dip.
This will be substantial and it will last for years. It will be worth the pain if we learn a few new things. Like living within our means. Dumping the credit cards..thinking over large purchases....hey, maybe even calling off unnecessary big purchases, etc
We have picked up a lot of bad habits since WW2. This is gonna be the hangover after the party. |
