The better business bureau can be misleading. Companies pay money to be emblazoned with the BBB symbol. Take a look at http://www.ripoffreport.com ...the info is all there for you to analyze.

Call the Better Business Bureau for your area and see if they have any information or complaints about them. Also, try to find the number for where the company is based, and call THEIR BBB.
www.bbb.org is great, and searchable. if you find something you can call them!

Contact the Better Business Bureau for your State. Also, your State Government (Tax Dept) keeps records for all registered, incorporated businesses, so these are legit as you say. Keep googling!
