I honesty do nothing all day-It's killing me coz all i do is smoke and eat to kill the time!!
the max I do is half hours work!
I get paid well for this job-why dont the corporation save there money.
I'm management level so dont have anyone to ask for extra work.

If its true you get paid to do basically nothing, crap man I feel better about being unemployed now. Sans the fact that I'm not getting a pay check. If you have your own office you can always do Yoga, Pilates, and Chan Buddhist meditation you know. Not what they pay you for I know but, they don't pay you be doing nothing either.
What I would do in your position to stave off boredom, is probably attend an online University or something, and "sneak" a college degree in. If people hear the click clacking of a keyboard, they will think what a productive person you are, what a hard worker you are when in fact you are studying. Who knows the ruse may even get you a promotion!
Provided you can keep the subterfuge of course...

Some people have jobs which get them busy only when something goes wrong somewhere in the system ( for example in a telephone exchange when a line connection is lost). If you are in a job with nothing to do, why not see your supervisor and ask is there something else that needs to be done. It is better to be busy than idle. The day does not seem as long. Also doing other duties is a useful learning experience. |
