Is this company liable for my bank overdraft fees?
A certain large company mistakenly charged me for something and promised to credit it back, yet before that promised credit posted, FOUR overdraft fees were assessed to my account. Is the company liable for this at all (my bank says they're not responsible, so they can't help me.)?
I would say that they would be but you are very vague about what happened. It wouldn't be the bank's responsibility -- try contacting the company

You have to prove to them that they were the cause of the overdraft. If they are then they should be held responsible.

depends if they were the overdraft or did you make more payments. If you made more payments, they no.
Jacky.- the "INDIAN".
Why not ?
Thew are only party to be liable for it .

If the companies charges caused you to go into overdraft, then you could request they refund you those charges but you will have to prove to them that that was the case. If you wrote against the promised credit, assuming it would be there, then you have no recourse, since you should not rely on "should be there on"
