When I was in college it was THE place to go for us procrastinators. It ranked right up there with Perkins.
We'd have light saber fights in the toy department. Rock out to a good station in the electronics area. Cross-dress male friends in the clothing area. You gotta use your imagination.
The trick is to go there with a friend and during slower times. If you have little kids, don't bring them because they will see something expensive they can't have a cry, or just get bored and cry. Bring them if you have to, but it does tend to make shopping less fun and more work if you have little ones to watch.
I also avoid it during a friday or saturday afternoon/evening because that's when 99% of the world seems to do their shopping there. It's common sense. |
