I guess they don't do any testing or have quality control people. All of a sudden they now have figured it out! Amazing huh! People need to look at the labels and start demanding USA made products. Maybe then our manufacturing industries will make a comeback. BUY AMERICAN MADE!

I'm all for buying American made but the problem is not where it is made. It is the company like Mattel and Walmart who are more interested in the bottom line and stock price, so that the executives and the board members make mega bucks and mega options. If a company like Mattel can't set up a proper quality control in China, do you think the same company will set up proper control here in the USA. Regardless where products are made, it's the responsibility of the company selling the products by assuring quality and safety. That's what I called accountability.
Our manufacturing industries can never come back. We can't compete with factories in Asia not just China. The workers there average daily income is about 4 to 6 dollars. Ours laborers start at 4 to 6 dollars an hour. The bottom line is accountability, quality and safety assurance by companies selling stuff to the consumers.
Most American companies think they are outsource the manufacturing to Asia and forget about it. Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way. Of course, we can't tell those big companies about these kind of stuff. They know everything.
There are differences in cultural and consumer satisfaction in Asia and in the USA. |

Of course they know. Business is business that's what they say. Probably they already made a lot in production and of course that cause a lot of money, so they tried to sell it and see if it will go through. It did not so. they have a problem.

Mattel doesn't care. They are all about the profits. I say, where the heck is the government? They should be monitoring the situation and there should be regulations.
It's sick. As a society, we are going downhill. It's sad. |
