You can bet it is a 419 scam. They usually originate from Nigeria and I am guessing this one would require you to pay part airfare and then of course no ticket is bought or some kind of money laundering scheme.

Several applicants have told us that recruitment organisations had approached them and requested payment in exchange for purportedly processing their application for a job at Total.
Please be advised that Total, its subsidiaries and the organisations that it entrusts with its recruitment requirements do not and will not ask for money from applicants under any circumstance and at any point in the selection and recruitment process.
In other words, if a recruitment organisation requests payment please be advised that they are not working on our behalf.

Nigeria is the fraud capitol of the world. I'm not sure if it's legitimate or not. But I wouldn't give them any money or personal information. Fraud is part of their culture.
