What the tax office isnt telling you is that although returns can be processed on 01/16/09 the irs is not accepting acknowlegements until 01/19/2009 in some centers. Until the funding bank gets an acknowlegement from irs the bank will not fund product (ie emerald card). Jackson Hewitt should have let u know this information. |

yeah same here i have been filing with jackson hewitt for years and i have always done the 24 hour refund and this year i was denied !!!! Not happy espically in times like this !!!!! The web site is telling me 8-15 days does anyone know if it is buisness days ? |

i filed 2008 taxes on 1-14-09.. the irs will not accept efile taxes until friday 1-16-09.. in which i was told it would be monday or tuesday before i knew if i was granted the RAL.. i logged on saturday 1/17/09 to taxinfonet.com and saw my taxes were accepted and they were waiting to see if i was approved for the RAL.. you have to remember monday was a holiday and banks were closed and RAL's were not going to be approved.. I just checked the same website this morning tuesday 1-20-09 and the RAL was approved.. i dont know if any of this helps to figure out whats going on with yours.. just some info if it helps |

I was told that my tax rebate will be on saturday 1-17-2009, witch it wasn't. so i call jacksonhewitt, and they said I was on the list of people to recieve they're funds on sunday by 4pm. still nothing.please let me know whats going on. thanks leslee |

They took me would get my return in one day. Now , I've been told might not get my return until 8-15 days. I never asked for that long. Is it really going to take this long if so next year won't be coming back. Will try the H&R block cuz my friends got her Sunday with her losses added. |

i am having the same problem. i have talk to the people at santa barbara bank. the irs was not in til this past friday. i just hope i dont get charged for the 1-3 business day fees. |

My fiance got the Christmas loan Crap on the ipower Card! So when he filed his taxes the money will go on the Ipower card to pay the 300 loan from Christmas. He filed his taxes Sunday and they put 1,000$ on the card that day within 1 hour and said the rest 7,000$ or so would be on there Tuesday, Well Monday they called and said He wasn't approved for the Rapid Stuff and that it would appear on there in 8-14 days. Well they have already gave him 1000 the day he did his Taxes, Im so ready to get this Money, We had bought a house and we get the 7,500 dollars for that. |

I had the same problem at jackson hewitt they had me thinking that was getting my refund in 1-3 days and its been 5 days already personally i think i should have went to H & R Block because all the people i know that went there has gotten their refunds already with the 1-3 day. |

I just went through the same thing. I did my taxes Friday with Jackson Hewitt. They said I was approved for the 24 hour RAL. Nothing all weekend!! No $$$ So I called today (Monday) She told me the bank approved me for the 8-15 day and I would be charged accordingly. We shall see!!!!!!!!! This is very frustrating!!!!! |

The same thing happened to me. I filed on the 1/13 and i was told I would get my money on sunday but didn't get nothing. I called jackson hewitt and they told me that that i wasn't approved and had to wait 11 to 17 days for my tax refund, on my paper work it says 8-15 days. im sooooooo pissed! i should of went back to h&r block this year!!!!!!!!! I WANT MY MONEY |

I've been doing my taxes with jackson for four years but this year, somehow, my taxes get pulled over by irs for identity fraud!!! So now, two weeks later, I have to re- file and mail it in to prove that I'm me... Its funny how they had no problem proving who I was when the taxes were being taken. |
