You don't need to worry about a thing they don't expect you to know anything. All you need to do is not think that the right way to be is the way all the other bad attitude employees are. These people will want to glam onto you and bring you into their little group. The bad attitude folks will complain and try to get you to agree with them and everything is unfair and sucks and you just don't want to go that road. Sometimes the work is hard and busy and it's difficult but keep your attitude strong. Remember, the way you do this job is the same way you will do any other job. The attitude of the down trodden is that they can act stupid for this job cause it's a stupid job like some one is going to hire them for brain surgeon and they will be good workers for that job.
If you work hard and keep a positive attitude you bosses will notice.
One more thing, do not get stuck in any job. Your whole life you will be responsible for you. Always try to get more education, experience, authority, money, and make yourself the employee everyone wants around.
See . . . By the time I finished my answer there was already two sad complaining answers. This is what you will be exposed to. You have to resist the urge to fit in with this group. When you hear all the folks complaining try to remember that these folks see themselves doing this kind of work for the rest of their lives. You are just there on your way up. You be a mover and shaker. Get your education and take care of you. Your life is ahead of you and the future is as bright as you can imagine it to be. |

Actually, they don't hire ANYBODY! There are 3 interviews you go through...that means the 1st person can say 'no way' and you don't get a 2nd. or u make it through 2 and the 3rd says 'no way' So, assuming you made it to the drug test and pass then you are hired. They'll call you for orientation and you'll learn about the co. (benefits, 401, stock options, etc...)and you'll do computer modules that give you basic training according to your position. Then you'll train on the floor.
oh yeah, of course you won't have a set schedule - apparantly dede didn't realize it was RETAIL! |

just remember this... Walmart hires ANYBODY!!! if you get hired, you will get a call in a couple of days (maybe a week, depending on how long it takes to process the drug test) then you will have a week of classroom training (this is very boring but they usually have coffee to keep you awake) after that they train you on the floor....this training is only a couple of days. then you are on your own.... good luck |

There may be 2 more interviews depending on their needs so pratice them with a friend playing the role of the interviewer. Since you have no retail experience they may chose someone,BUT you did not write the job position so you have a chance.
A positive disposition is a must so have have good thoughts and relax.
Once you get hired NEVER mix your personal life with work because there are people with blind ambition that will use whatever you say about yourself so they can get ahead. Go to work and keep your private life out. Yahoo search: Sam's Club 6625+Management
