Typically the days to definitely avoid are the 1st, 3rd, 15th, and last day of the month (as well as any Friday and Tuesday immediately surrounding a holiday where the bank will be closed), and the worst times of day are usually the first 30 minutes after opening, 12-1:30, and the last hour to hour an a half before closing. |
