Should be the same. A Texas corporation can be named "Dallas, Inc." or "Dallas Corporation", but are subject to the same rules. There are Corporations, Limited Liability Companies, Professional Corporations, Professional Associations (generally physicians or dentists only...), . |

Take a look at a Web site called mycorporation.com and it will answer other such questions about registering.
You might want to consider registering as a foreign corporation in Deleware rather than in TX. You will need an "agent", but the service will take care of that for ya.
You'll save a bunch of $$.
Best wishes. |

No difference. And do not think that if you set up a corp in another state that it will be cheaper for you. Depending on what type of business you conduct, you may have to be legally able to conduct biz in TX no matter in which state you form your entity. And Texas has a $750 foreign filing fee for an entity formed in another state doing biz in Texas, in addition to the $750 per year franchise tax that Texans get to pay. |
