Lying advertisments?
i really get irritated by the commercials on tv by British Gas, BT, NPOWER etc. they claim that every 20 secs someone is coming back to them.
How can they claim this cos they all have competition and the competition is successful too. If it were true the whole of the UK would be with them soon enough. These lies really do piss me off - do you agree?
Advertisements are all pure drivell my friend. I find them torturous and abhorrent. They use every imaginable tactic to make you buy their product and are a discusting intrusion in our brains.
the trouble is they work. How many times have you found yourself humming a tacky tune that's been used on an advert, or recognizing a product because of its garish representation.
We just gaup at the TV and allow them to drill themselves into our minds most of the time. I've found the best thing to do is put them on mute and wait for your programme to start again.

they not lying!!! its just its not the truth either. someone does switch to them every 20 sec, its just that some one has switched to one of the others every 20 sec as well. British as is really expensive when comes to electricity so we switched.

customers are always leaving 1 company for another. the claims are true but 1 sided, as they dont tell you how many are leaving them. Just know that they are all stuffed and are in business to take your money.

The published figures do not include who is leaving! In the industry this is known as churn and is a real pain.
