i went with my friend and we stood in line for an hour at the macy's in riverside,ca and i got a vera wang princess body polish!

Yep, you are correct - you can get ONE free beauty product if you purchased cosmetics from the major dept. stores between May, 1994 & July, 2003 as defined in the class action suit in the link below. In my area, stores include: Macy's, Bloomingdale's, Nordstrom, Dillard's, Saks & Neiman Marcus. Check the website for the stores where you live.
I would hurry if you want to find a product since I have heard that many stores have already depleted their supplies. No rainchecks will be issued - while supplies last, on a first come, first served basis and it started on Jan 20, 2009.
You will need to stand in line, select your item, print & sign your name. Most stores set up a special table or area with the signs posted. You should be able to ask in the Cosmetics or Fragrance department and they may hand you a flyer with the product details.
Hope you can get in on this if you act quickly! |

Hi, I just got free gift today from Bloomingdale’s at NYC. Everyone one can get one free gift (no matter how old you are). You don't need to bring anything, just go to there and pick it (the line is not that long for Bloomingdale's). I heard there is long line at Macy's (34th Street, NYC). Go to www.cosmeticsettlement.com and they have all the info on which stores and what you can get.
Basically if you bought certain cosmetics between 1998-2004 from certain department stores you can get one free item out of a list.
First come, first serve starting tomorrow. You don't need proof of purchase but if you are young they will probably figure you weren't buying mascara at the age of eight. |

Also, you will have to sign your name to a legal document stating that you bought cosmetic merchandise from May 29, 1994 to July 16, 2003. You cannot participate if you or a member of your family are employed with any of the companies mentioned in the settlement. |
