Oh, your poor thing, that's disgusting!! That happened to me once when I was eating an apple, I was sick all night :( I think you should keep trying to call the Hershey company till you get to speak to someone, as this is really gross. Failing that, send the packet and the bar (if you still have it) to the company with a really strong letter of complaint. I think you are owed an apology at the very least. God, I feel terrible for you :(
video tape though because this women did and it helped a lot when she sued them!

Yes, you can and should sue them now, that's disgusting. |

You can't sue someone because a fly decided to lay eggs on something... well you could, but you would not win. |
|

no way, jose
 |
You can sue, but you will probably need evidence, so just put to bar in the fridge or freezer or whatever till you get the case straightened out.
and my guess is that is not happening very often. |

If the bar is inside it's sell by date you need to contact the health department, and write to hershey as well. It might not be Hershey's fault, it could be the store you bought it from not keeping the right conditions, if hershey offer you something like a $10 voucher or anything and you accept it, that will be the matter closed, so weigh up how far you want to go. Public health would be my first port of call though x |

save the evidence and receipt and take pictures if u must. build ur case then sue. thats just NASTY |

well, that happened with zingers a few years back, im sure there are already people calling the company, but dont eat another Hershey chocolate bar, and you shouldnt sue, unless you start throwing up or something. |

you should just call the company and complain they should send you some think gift certificate or some think don't think you could sue as it didn't do any think to you and it was out of there control in a retail store |

I think you should be more concerned with the store selling the Hershey bar. Nothing like this has ever happened to me before, or anyone I know. I'm sorry about that disgusting incident though. |

I don't remember what kind of candy bar it was, but there definitely four worms in it. It was in the summertime and there was nothing that I could do about it. That was about 40 years ago. But I only found two worms on one side because I had probably eaten the other two. Yes, it makes me gag today. |

Need to contact your environmental health dept at either county or state level. You will probably get more joy if you have kept the bar as that's the only proof they can see. Then they can find out from Hershey's records when it was produced, based on the best before date..
My relatives live in England and they have seen in the news once where a bird was in a loaf of bread - sliced up |

This happened to me in a Reses peanut butter cup. They probably werent maggots, my guess is weevils. Dont sue, just take it back and tell the store that you found bugs in your candy bar. And dont worry about getting sick, the bugs wont do that. |

Sue them. That's a shame, because Hershey's is delicious...or should I say "was". |

IF this really happened only an idiot would be on yahoo answers saying WHAT DO I DO? however I'm not taking any chances i won't be eating any hershey bars, cookiesN cream or any other hershey products. |

Hershey has heard your concerns and has pulled the bar off the market. They are changing the labels and re-introducing them as the Bear Grylls Chocolate Protien Bar. It comes with a coupon for a free night's stay in a hotel too! |
