I think giving the current status of Yahoo's stock financially and it's stock in the Internet world, and giving Bill Gates & Company's massive hold on the computer world that it would be a great union. Bill Gates knows that Yahoo is still the #1 site on the internet and that it's email is also #1.
I think that although both company's have alot of similar services (IM, email,search,etc) that it will definitely be a good thing, I do not think that it will give Google a run for it's money but I think it will have a very good effect on both company's customer base. |

I hope to see a better competition between Yahoo and Google, the arch-rival.
Google is getting stronger influence nowadays, even Microsoft and Yahoo have to step aside. If the takeover really happened, we'll see big changes in both companies.
There's much to be learn from both companies. Microsoft will have to re-evaluate their software manufactures, and Yahoo will have to focus to improve their online services, which is on the losing side compare to G's. |
