They are going to hassle you because it's a game and they have stricter policies on games and dvds. If you have a receipt then take it back up there and explain. If they say no, ask to speak to a CSM, and if a CSM says no then go to the asst manager all the way up to a store manager. I would also take with me past receipts for stuff I bought up there and show how loyal of a customer I have been. Don't get too angry or excited because you are more likely to be rejected. Just keep saying who can I speak to above you? If you make it all the way to the store manager and they say no, threaten to call corporate. Corporate automatically issues $25 gift cards for any customer service complaint and it affects the store's ratings so they are more likely to go ahead and let you swap it out, but you will have to get the exact same one and they will open it before you leave to make sure it's in there. |

You should be able to. The only way to find out for sure is to go back to the store and ask.
I get the feeling you're a kid, am I right? If so, better bring an adult with you. It's possible the store personnel will act as if they think you stole the disk or something and are trying to rip them off for a new one. I know it's not fair, but some store managers and clerks are always ready to assume the worst. |
