Mocos store?????

hi
i ordered laptop from mocos store and i paid them the money through moneygram, and i didnt get the laptop so i lost 500 dollars

i am from europe and i dont know what to do now
can somebody help me, or tell me what to do, is there any chance that i can get my money back?

please help me

i am going home for the summer and i will be back for the fall

Their prices are too good to be true because this is a fake website run by criminals who steal peopleâ€™s identities to set up these fake websites which try to get your credit card info and/or have you wire money to a fake bank/person ( http://www.resellerratings.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=125767 and http://au.answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AvqjyDKY.Lq6rNaGD3j09YAJ5wt.?qid=20070417171820AAIm0Wy ).

Additionally:
1. No physical store at the address listed.
2. Tele# is for Mocos Store in Houston which a BBB investigator went to the two addresses provided by the company and found that there are no such addresses. The BBB also found that the Web site www.mocos-store.com was only created on April 10, 2007 (http://www.data.bbb.org/houston2.asp ).
3. They have tried to get people to wire money to individuals rather than use a credit card.
4. This is a scam operation that has multiple web identities, all to nonexistent telephone #, addresses, etc. and they are just out to get your credit card info.

Donâ€™t go here or to any other websites that look the same. A couple other ones by these same guys (they use the domain siteprotect.com for these webs) are:

In the future you can check out the company at BBB.org. Also see if the tele# and address (with a store by that name) really exists by doing a web search. Unfortunately, no agency has found out who is behind this and caught them yet. I am currently tracking them down though and will send my info to the federal authorities.

My son wanted me to order his laptop from Mocos. I was trying to find out more about the company, and I am coming up with nothing....I thought it was odd so many things were 500. I will cancel that order pronto! I hope you get your money back.

that store is fradulent. now you know not to EVER send money through moneygram when purchasing with people you dont know. i am sorry that you lost 500 bucks, but next time do research on a store offering deals that are too good to be true.

I was looking at that site and was about to purchase a laptop from them as well, but I checked them on the BBB (Better Business Bureaus) and found out that the company is not real. You can check this page http://www.data.bbb.org/houston2.asp
I am afraid there isn't much that you can do besides contact an internet fraud angency. I got caught up in a scam like this before and lost 6 times the money you did. I'm still working on finding out how to get my money back, but it's not looking good. The best you can do is get in touch with a fraud angency and see what they can do. it's the FBI internet crime page and file a report. Unfortunately, as I have come to find out, there is little to no chance of getting your money back and most internet criminals don't get caught (too bad for us!!). Now, I usually check all potential companies on the BBB. And one good tip that l learned was never to complete a transaction through moneygram or any other wire service if you cannot speak to the company personally and have a secure transaction method. I'm sorry you had to go through the same mess I did. I hope I at least answered your question and gave you a little avenue to go down to try and get your money back.

And the messed up thing is that there was a report made to the BBB about the company, and when the investigator went to check their addresss, it wasn't real. But the website is still up?!?!?! Makes no sense!!!
