My Ebay Dillema,well sort of?
On Ebay I chose buy it now for a poster,Anyways I changed my mind, and they said all bids are final, and I said to myself we'll see,so there rules say you got to checkout within 8 Days,I never did it's been 17 Days, and I haven't gotten negative feedback,I suppose it slipped through the crack,or the company I'm buying from doesn't care,So my question is do you think i'll eventually get negative feedback,or did they forget?

SELL2K_com
They're not leaving you negative feedback, because you could leave negative feedback in return.

So it's not worth it to the Seller, because your negative retaliation feedback will only hurt their sales and it's a poster, so I'm guessing their only out about $1.00 MAYBE.

hope this helps, sell2k

you may not get bad feedback from a very busy vendor, however, the right thing to do is contact the vendor and explain what happened. If not you have technically committed breach of contract and they do have the right to leave that feedback. I am sure that it would be better to be honest with them and retain a good status than get negative feedback when they do discover it.

All bids including "buy it now" are legally binding contracts. Don't worry your pretty little head about it. You will get your negative feedback.

hopefully the seller just didn't care. But--if the seller pursues it, you are bound by the contract and according to how far seller pushes the issue you may get a neg strike or you could even be denied using ebay. I don't think that would happen though because ebay would most likely get you and the seller to come to some sort of terms. Ebay doesn't want to loose users. Sometimes you can run in to real jerk sellers, I did on a purchase I made and the seller emailed me for 3 weeks after close of auction. It's a long story, but anyway best of luck to you. Maybe your bid will slip by them

Michael
Unfortunately for you, eBay agrees with the seller. So here's the process:

The seller has to file a dispute against you after 7 days have passed but before the 45th day. Ebay will then send you emails encouraging you to complete the transaction. If you refuse to honor your obligation within (I think) 7 days after the dispute has been filed, eBay will count it as a strike against you and refund the seller his seller fees.

If you get enough strikes against you, eBay will limit or suspend your account. However, if you and the seller come to a mutual agreement, the seller can close the dispute with no strikes against you.

It's all here:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/unpaid-item.html

As for feedback, you both will have the option to leave feedback for each other as usual. Keep in mind that many eBayers do take the time to research who was in the wrong, even if you choose to leave retaliatory negative feedback.

My advice to you would be to play nice with the seller. If he or she refuses to release you from your obligation, then do the honorable thing. It will only come back to bite you if you don't.

Hi there it would really depend on the company and how busy they are, as they wouldnt have time to place all feedback i guess
