I disagree with some of the previous answers. You should start sending out resumes and try to game this situation to neutral until you can get transferred or the personlaity difference gets smoothed over.
The chances of you getting a supervisor fired, short of gross negligence on their part, is close to zero. If your supervisor has credibility in the organization the company will generally back the superior. Likewise, threatening a lawsuit only works if you've got something to back it up. I've never worked for a company that would pay out or settle with every disgruntled worker. And, even so, this would be both costly and would definitely not allow you to keep your job -and might make getting references from the place more difficult. |

If you really want to get her, use the fact that she has fallen out with you to your advantage. Claim she has made it impossible for you to do your job and that it was all because of a minor accounting error. Have evidence to show you have corrected it as quickly as possible and it was all done, but she has shown her vindictive side. Claim this has made it impossible for you two to work together, that you are considering employment tribunal and that you have contacted your lawyers. I think most employers would be a little worried then. You have to act this one out and be prepared to spend the money on lawyers if need be but it should have the desired effect - and if it all goes wrong, sue the company!! |
